Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Items that are upgraded are components that can be inserted into armor, weapons or trinkets to provide an additional benefit. They typically have more cost and require the item to be at a certain level.
Items that have extremely high requirements generally don't see any value in upgrading. This is especially relevant for items such as eth Titans that don't have much variation.
Glyphs
When you reach the 50th level the action-RPG of Blizzard changes from its simplified campaign to the final game. This is when things really begin to change, as players are being pushed into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons and brand new grinds that ensure their class build is as robust as it can be.
Glyphs are an essential component to this progression. A higher upgrade level for a Glyph buffs its stat attributes and its radius of impact on the Paragon Board. There are a variety of methods to obtain these upgrades, but the majority of players will rely on the primary method: raiding Faction Crypts.
The Glyphs panel allows you to add glyphs to your text by choosing the appropriate option from the menu that is located on the left of the screen. It displays glyphs initially in the font where the cursor is placed however, you can also view a different font or type style, and narrow the list of glyphs to a smaller subset by selecting one of the options below Entire Font (for example Punctuation shows only punctuation symbols). When you move your cursor over any glyph, you'll be able to find its CID/GID and Unicode value in a tooltip.
After you've entered several glyphs, the Glyphs panel will keep an eye on the last 35 distinct ones you've used and will make them available under the category of Recently Used on the first row of the panel (you must expand the panel in order to see all 35). You can also clear this list by right-clicking or Control-clicking a glyph in the list and selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.
Another advantage of the Glyphs panel is the ability to create and edit an individual glyph set which is helpful when you need to type certain types of text frequently. This will save you from having to manually insert every glyph when you require it.
A custom glyph set can comprise up to 31 glyphs comprising the base name as well as its suffix. The base name must contain uppercase English alphabetic letters (A-Z) and lowercase English alphabetic letters (a-z), European numbers (0-9) and underscore (_) and various other glyphs. The glyphs that make up the suffix may include ligatures or contextual alternates which are variants that combine two or more characters into one, visually unified glyph.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the main mechanics that give extra bonuses to items, such stats. They are available in three different kinds: rerolling, leveling up and recycling. upgrade item comes with a distinct bonus for the item.
Reroll Tokens can be used to change the item's base stats and upgrade numbers. They can also be used to reroll substats for rings. This can be beneficial if an item's fully upgraded (or "potential") power is lower than a player desires, or if the item's current substats aren't ideal.
Rerolling an item costs 1 token. It resets the upgrades, but keep the rarity, set, and level intact. As an item is progressively leveled up, its tier increases. The primary stat of the item will be increased by 3 points for each level. Any additional stat that is randomly added is also boosted with it. The rank of an item rises by 1 when you raise an item to the maximum possible level.
The Blueprint Desk is a tool that allows players to purchase new appliances, ingredients, and Decorations for their restaurants. Blueprints are provided at the beginning of each Preparation Phase. They appear as envelopes which can be opened by pressing the Grab. Each blueprint comes with its own icon, and every category of upgradeable item displays a different icon:
Certain recipes require the use of certain Appliances or Ingredients, and these can be obtained by choosing a Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Some Appliances and Ingredients are considered staples, which means that they are not available at the Shop or through a reroll, while others have a higher chance of appearing if a specific Franchise Card is picked from the Blueprint Desk. The Staple Pool is where all items will remain for the duration of the game. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.
Recycled Items
The third "R," recycle, is where the magic really occurs. You can benefit the environment by recycling a product made from recycled material. The majority of recycled items are returned to their original manufacturer to be remanufactured as an entirely new product. This is referred to as "closing the loop of recycling."
If someone places something in their recycling bins at the curb, it is sent to a Materials Recovery Facility where it is separated and sorting. Then, it can be sold on to manufacturers who will re-make the product. Remade products include:

This process reduces the need to harvest, grow or extract raw materials to make something other than. This reduces the amount of harm that is done to the natural world; fewer trees are removed, rivers diverted and wild animals are relocated. It also reduces the amount of pollution caused by dumping substances into our water, soil and the air.
In addition Recycling products keep local jobs and businesses alive, especially those that specialize in making goods from recycled materials. This is because the demand for such products helps encourage businesses to join in this environmentally healthy effort.
The last reason to purchase recycled items is that it requires less energy to produce new items out of recycled material than to create them from raw materials. The manufacturing process for a new aluminum container requires 95% more energy than the manufacturing of a can made from recycled material. This is why every little bit is important.
Leveling
Most units can level up and gain XP every time they attack or are attacked. This XP is used to unlock upgrades or to increase the main stats of the unit. Weapons are a great example, as they can level up and increase their damage and range.
Most levels require a certain amount of levels to be completed, though this may vary from game to game. Making use of coins or other materials is the only way to level up. Most systems use both to increase the level of an item, however some only make use of one or the other.
The issue of leveling can be a challenge in many games because it makes certain units too powerful, while other units aren't able compete with them. Limiting the amount of leveling that players are allowed to do will force them to decide what they would like to upgrade and the reasons behind it.
